An exciting opportunity is currently available for experienced Clinical Nurses (Clinical Placement Coaches) to join the Nursing and Midwifery Education Team at the Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. Your opportunity:
- Coach and actively guide and encourage staff and students towards the delivery of quality care by promoting knowledge and skills for evidence-based and patient-focused clinical services in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
- Develop, foster and encourage a culture of learning through mentoring and preceptor support for all staff and students through all stages of the clinical journey, supporting timely resolution of clinical education needs and challenges.
Permanent Part Time (32 hours p.f.) and Temporary Part Time Position (40 hours p.f.) from date of appointment until 1st March 2026, and for other periods of leave relief as negotiated with the Line Manager until September 2026.
