The role of Tyre Technician Leading Hand is a key position within our organisation. This individual will be responsible for providing high-level continuous service on site, supporting workshop operations, office functions, stock management, and personnel operations.
In this capacity, the Tyre Technician Leading Hand will be required to prioritise and direct personnel for efficient, safe, and cost-effective tyre fitting and workshop maintenance tasks. Additionally, they will maintain a safe and efficient workforce through constructive feedback and initiatives, demonstrate supervision to ensure all safety systems are present, lead by example to ensure compliance with site and company policies, procedures, and instructions, and actively promote a safety culture targeting zero harm to personnel and the environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years Earthmover tyre fitting experience on mine sites.
* Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy (AUR21916/ AUR21920).
* A valid HR Driving license.
* Statutory 26 (advantageous).
* High initiative and ability to work under pressure.
* Attention to detail for site safety procedures.
* Able to work autonomously.
