We're currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Gardener to join our team full-time at Pine Lake Village Elanora, one of our beautiful retirement communities located.This is an opportunity to take pride in your work and make a meaningful impact on the daily lives of our residents by keeping our outdoor spaces safe, clean, and beautifully presented.About the RoleWorking 2 days per week, your schedule will be:Monday and Tuesdays 8:30am to 4:36pmAs our Gardener, you'll play a key role in ensuring our village grounds are safe, clean, and beautifully presented.
Your responsibilities will include:Performing a variety of gardening tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, mulching, watering and plantingUndertaking regular maintenance of gardens, lawns, paths, and communal outdoor areasManaging rubbish bin placement and waste disposalMaintaining and safely operating gardening equipment and toolsResponding to ad hoc maintenance or gardening requests in line with resident needs and village standardsAbout YouTo succeed in this role, you will bring:At least 1 year of gardening, groundskeeping, or landscape maintenance experienceKnowledge of horticultural practices and plant careThe ability to work independently and take initiative to maintain high presentation standardsA customer-friendly approach and strong interpersonal skillsPhysical capability to undertake manual tasks (up to 15kg lifting)Experience in residential communities, retirement villages, schools or commercial grounds will be highly regarded.What We OfferMy Day: Your annual day to focus on well-being and lifestyleWe Shine Savings: Unlock savings across all industries and top brandsEAP (Employee Assistance Program): Confidential support for you and your family.We Shine Recognition: Feel appreciated with peer-to-peer and manager-to-team recognition.We Connect: Love where you work?
