We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pathology Collector to join our team. As a Pathology Collector, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pathology services.
Responsibilities
* Collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients with care and attention
* Keeping accurate and up-to-date records for every patient and sample
* Delivering documentation within strict turnaround times
* Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing
* Liaising with customers, clinic staff, and couriers
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or a healthcare background
* Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy
* Organisational skills, with strong time management and attention to detail
* The ability to work autonomously, sometimes in a solo clinic environment
* A valid Driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics
* A working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one
* Citizenship or residency requirements
