The role We are seeking an accomplished Broker with strong business development skills to join our Melbourne team.
This high-performing team works meticulously in a supportive and collaborative environment to consistently exceed expectations.
The role offers succession planning and equity opportunities, with responsibilities including the identification and acquisition of new clients.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Create and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed targets. Develop new relationships to increase quote traffic, win new business, and cross-sell to increase products per policy ratio. Coordinate internal sales activities and refer leads to the team when beyond your capacity. Manage a portfolio of Mid-Market and Corporate accounts. Monitor and report on competitor activity. Build a strong individual and company profile. Potentially undertake leadership duties based on experience and interest. Have prior successful employment in relationship-based sales roles within the insurance industry and a thorough understanding of the general insurance market. Experience in driving new business in a brokerage is desired. Possess sales leadership and mentoring capabilities. Exhibit strong technical broking expertise.
