Are you ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic organisation? We are on the hunt for a Senior HR Business Partner with a flair for Industrial Relations (IR) to drive innovation, enhance performance, and foster a culture of collaboration. In this pivotal role, you will provide expert guidance and support to leadership across key HR processes—performance management, policies, procedures, employment agreements, and conditions. You will assist in IR/ER matters and help shape the way the business operates, ensuring a seamless, high-performance culture that aligns with best practices and legislative requirements.
Reporting to the General Manager, People, Culture & Safety you will work hand-in-hand with managers and leadership teams to craft tailored solutions that drive business success and employee satisfaction. This is not just an HR role; it’s a chance to truly shape the culture and future of our people operations.
Key Responsibilities
As the Senior HR Business Partner, you will:
* Lead with Expertise: Provide operational advice on employment conditions, legislation, and all people-related matters to leadership, empowering them to make informed decisions.
* Provide guidance on IR/ER: Keep your finger on the pulse of IR/ER legislation, proactively ensuring that policies and practices are forward-thinking, compliant, and in line with both best practices and business goals.
* Lead the Change: Be the trusted point of contact for all operational, people, and safety-related matters, driving collaboration and creating a cohesive working environment.
* Own the People Processes: Take full ownership of key People processes, ensuring they are streamlined, efficient, and customer-focused, with results that align perfectly with business needs.
* Drive Impactful Initiatives: Lead and contribute to game-changing projects in performance management, talent development, employee relations, change management, and employee engagement—each contributing to a culture of excellence.
About You

* Strategic Thinker: Proven ability to prepare detailed, impactful documentation, and reports on IR/ER issues, crafting policies that are not only compliant but forward-thinking.
* Legislative Expertise: A solid understanding of relevant legislation such as Fair Work, NES, Awards, Agreements, and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
* Master of Organisation: Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities while maintaining high standards of work.
* Relationship Builder: A natural at cultivating positive relationships across all levels of the organisation, with experience managing stakeholders across multiple sites a definite plus.
* Confidentiality and Integrity: A strong commitment to handling sensitive and confidential information with the utmost professionalism.
