The Company
Robert Half is currently recruiting a Payroll Officer for a well-respected organisation that specialises within the aged care / home care sector.
This team boasts amazing leadership as well as a true team-based culture.
The Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll duties.
Some typical duties will involve:
Data entry of time-sheets
Ensure all staff receive appropriate entitlements in relation to awards, agreements, contracts
Manual pay adjustments & amendments
Understanding & interpretation of complex EBAs & awards
Manage employee records and administer appropriate changes
Calculation of terminations / redundancies
Participate in audits and reviews of payroll and leave records
Payroll reporting
Resolution of payroll queries
This position is moving quickly with the successful candidate hopefully able to commence immediately.
Your Profile
To be successful you will have proven experience in a high-volume payroll role, preferably within the aged care / home care sector.
The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:
Excellent communication and written skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to handle a high-volume workload
A demonstrated experience in interpreting complex awards and enterprise agreements
An ability to pick up new systems will also be required with previous exposure to PayGlobal an advantage.
