Flight Planning Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Flight Planning Specialist to support the AH-64E Apache helicopter program.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling and coordination of tasks regarding flight and simulator device training activities.
This includes supporting the coordination of all training continuum course delivery schedules and pilot pathway events, including asset booking, simulator devices and live flight scheduling.
Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating and re-scheduling efforts for all training event changes.
This includes identifying and mitigating schedule risks, providing alternative plans and justifying changes through reporting documentation.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in a flying operations support and programming role.
Demonstrated track record in driving process and productivity improvement is essential.
Experience employing FlightPro software package is also required.
Exceptional communication skills with business, customers and other stakeholders are necessary for success in this role.
The Australian Army and BDA members work together on this project.
