Work within the sales and sponsorship team at Charles Darwin University's radio station, Territory FM as the Sales & Communications Officer
About the Position
As the Sales and Communications Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales Manager to identify, develop and close new sponsorship and advertising opportunities in order to achieve Territory FM's commercial revenue targets.
The role contributes to the station's sustainability by building strong relationships with sponsors and advertisers, delivering high-quality communications, and effectively promoting the value and reach of Territory FM as a trusted community media partner.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
* Demonstrated experience in sales, sponsorship, advertising or a customer-facing role.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work to targets, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
* High level of professionalism and relationship-building capability.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM or booking systems.
Desirable
* Experience in media, radio, communications or sponsorship sales.
* Knowledge of the Northern Territory business and community landscape.
* Experience preparing proposals, presentations or sales collateral.
* Commitment to the University's values.
Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 5. The base salary will be in the range of $75,927 - $87,716 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $88,834 - $102,627 per annum inclusive of 17% superannuation.
