Overview
AJC is looking for talented Architect/Designers to join our team immediately. You’ll work closely with Studio Directors, Project Leads, and fellow Architects across all phases of the project lifecycle. As our office in Sydney is growing and we have a pipeline of interesting projects, we are looking for Architect/ Designers with +4 years’ experience, to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Studio Directors, Project Leads, and fellow Architects across all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Develop design options in collaboration with the design team.
- Prepare, develop and edit drawings and models as they relate to the project.
- Experience with technical detailing, construction documentation & construction administration.
- Ability to resolve technical and design challenges.
- Knowledge of products, materials, and construction methods.
- Exposure to management and coordination of project stakeholders, and sub-consultants.
- Solid organizational skills; be proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative in response to direction from managers.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification as an Architect or an equivalent overseas qualification.
- +4 years post qualification experience as an Architect after graduated master’s degree.
- Professional work experience using Revit and Adobe Suite.
- Proficiency with Rhino advantageous.
- Proven conceptual, design and graphic skills.
- Experience with technical detailing, construction documentation & construction administration.
- Ability to resolve technical and design challenges.
- Knowledge of products, materials, and construction methods.
- Exposure to management and coordination of project stakeholders, and sub-consultants.
- Ability to develop design options in collaboration with the design team.
- Able to prepare, develop and edit drawings and models as they relate to the project.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills; the ability to be proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative in response to direction from managers.
