WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

QC Catering is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Director of Corporate Catering Sales to join our team The Director of Corporate Catering Sales will find and qualify leads, close sales, foster vendor and venue relationships, formulate sales strategies, manage sales managers, and present product value to clients. Ideal candidates have a strong background in corporate sales and experience in catering and event planning. You will manage Corporate Sales Managers, prioritizing their time, and laying the training groundwork for their success

This is both a high-performance sales role and a leadership role. You will be responsible for your own book of business while also overseeing the corporate sales team, setting standards, managing accountability, and helping develop talent. You will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership to drive a performance culture across the sales team. A strong understanding of the Charlotte market and a team-first mindset are key to success.

REQUIREMENTS

* 8+ years of corporate sales experience - preferably related to catering/events as a team leader.
* 5+ years Hospitality experience
* 3+ years of managing Sales Managers.

COMPENSATION

QC Catering's compensation package includes a competitive experience-based salary, commission plan with unlimited earning potential, and company benefits. Our collaborative and dynamic team cannot wait to work with you Team members in this role typically earn between $80,000 - $100,000+ annually on a base + commission basis.

WORKLOAD / HOURS

Expected hours are 45-50 hours per week on average and potentially more during increased seasonality business. Possibility to work nights and weekends. More important than hours worked is the ability to get the job done, ensure clients have an exceptional experience and provide company and sales success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Strategy and Execution

* Meet and exceed individual and team monthly and annual revenue goals.
* Develop and execute corporate sales strategies, including leading RFP activities and managing quarterly sales prospecting plans.
* Respond to inbound leads, prospect leads, produce proposals, BEOs, and finalize details.
* Manage client feedback and reviews.
* Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and venues through regular prospecting and presentations.
* Coordinate with marketing to enhance lead generation and provide sales-specific feedback and needs.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to identify key accounts, growth opportunities, and market positioning.

Team Management Responsibilities

* Set the tone and standard for sales culture: proactive, responsive, client-first, and revenue-focused.
* Specialize in Corporate Off-Premise Events, Contracts, and Corporate Drop-Off, focusing on meeting and exceeding team sales targets.
* Engage in annual sales goal setting and commission structuring with the CEO, COO, and DOS.
* Help organize and lead weekly sales meetings.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth handoffs, service standards, and feedback loops between sales and operations.

Operational and Compliance Oversight

* Monitor competitors' products and services, sharing market insights with the team.
* Participate in menu development, providing corporate sales feedback and menu suggestions.
* Maintain and ensure adherence to Sales Policies & Procedures.
* Audit CRM and sales activity reports to ensure consistency and follow-through across the team.
