Reporting to the Project Manager, the scope of works includes the construction of complex concrete and formwork structures as well as associated Civil works.Working as part of a small Engineering team on site, as the Senior Project Engineer, you will be accountable for:Interpreting specifications, drawings and plans, construction methods and proceduresManage and mentor other Project Engineers and Site EngineersLead engineering support to the Project Manager, Construction Manager, Superintendents and supervisorsComprehensively understand the FRP scope of work, specifications, work plans and drawingsDevelop detailed work programs for allocated work packagesManage scope of work and ensure complianceIdentify variations in work packages and submit list for reviewDevelop margin improvement strategies in conjunction with the site project teamPrepare and review internal ITPs, forms & checklists for approval by ClientAbout You:Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or similarDemonstrated experience working in a FIFO or DIDO capacity preferredLarge Australian FRP / Concrete structures construction project experience are a MUSTExperience working for a Civil ContractorDemonstrated experience in leading and mentoring small project teamsExcellent written and spoken communication skillsWhat we offer:Whittens are committed to investing in our people, offering learning and development opportunities to build on the skills and experience you bring.
