We are currently seeking a Full-time Grounds & Maintenance Supervisor to join our friendly team.
About the Role
Reporting into the Park Manager, you must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team. You will be responsible for the overall upkeep and improvement of our grounds and gardens, as well as general maintenance.
We are looking for people who can communicate easily, friendly and confidently with our residents. You will take pride in your appearance, be self-motivated, have an eye for detail, a passion for maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and carry out grounds, landscaping, building and facility maintenance
* Supervise and support grounds/maintenance staff and external contractors
* Ensure WHS compliance, hazard identification and safe work practices
* Maintain equipment, vehicles, tools and maintenance records
* Manage chemicals, fertilisers and irrigation systems responsibly
* Assist with budgeting, reporting and maintenance planning
* Provide friendly service and support to residents, guests and park management
About You
* Proven experience in grounds and maintenance, including supervisory responsibilities
* Qualifications in Landscaping, Horticulture or a related field (trade qualification desirable)
* Strong knowledge of WHS, chemical handling and safe work practices
* Ability to plan work, meet schedules and manage priorities
* Confident communicator with the ability to lead and motivate a team
* Full driver's licence required

The rate of pay for this role is based on the Hospitality General Award.
