We are looking for a First line respondent that is cross trained to provide support for environmental compliance requirements.
Location: Kilcoy
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Monitor compliance to Environmental Management System requirements.
* Prepare and maintain necessary reports and records.
* Monitor wastewater quality – collecting samples, performing laboratory/field tests, recording results, and investigating parameter variations and inconsistencies.
* Monitor pond and dam levels – maintaining efficient movement of wastewater around the site, for irrigation, livestock, and recycling.
* Assist farm operatives in coordination and implementation of irrigation management strategy.
* Monitor levels of solid waste in waste streams – facilitating on zero waste to landfill.
* Monitor and report air/odour emissions.
* Conduct basic repairs (on the run operating repairs)
* Running of Daff systems and wastewater pumps as required
* Routine and preventative maintenance
* Hay management support
* Support farm testing
ROSTER
* Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
ABOUT YOU
* 5-10 years previous field experience collecting and testing water samples, writing reports
* Ability to identify issues and respond promptly with practical solutions
* Valid driver's licence, LR Truck licence an advantage.
* Farming experience desirable, including experience with tractors
* Basic maintenance/trade skills/fault finding
