Position Description: Logistics Team Leader
Location: Bayldon Rd, Queanbeyan Hours: Mon – Fri
Pay Rate: TBC Pay Status: Hourly

General Summary,
Logistics Team Leader oversees all aspects of internal and external logistics within a large scale joinery company.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage a small team.
Coordination and planning of deliveries and distribution of joinery to sites.
Allocating personnel and Vehicle resources.
Planning and liaising with Site and project management regarding deliveries.
Working closely with factory management to ensure the factory operation runs smoothly, this includes waste management and maintain storage facilities.
Liaise and coordinate labour hire and external logistics companies when necessary.
Comply and enforce WHS polices with staff.
Maintain small fleet of vehicles.
Maintain and manage a delivery schedule.

• CPCWHS1001 Construction Industry White Card.
• 11084NAT / 10675NAT Asbestos Awareness Card.
• 10830NAT Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention.
• High Risk Work Licence (Forklift).
• Class C Driver’s Licence (manual required).
• MR Truck license.
• First Aid certification (preferred).
Physical Demands and Work Environment
• Must be able to climb stairs, stand for extended periods of time and safely lift up to 25kg (assisted).
• Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Must be able to operate forklift safely.
• Physically capable of entering and exiting company owned vehicles safety.
