We are looking for an experienced Accounts Officer to join our team at Head Office to effectively manage Accounts Payable functions, including approval of NSW Sub-Contractor Statements, while providing a high level of leadership and service to internal and external stakeholders, in line with Coral Homes goals and objectives.
This is a part-time position (20 hours per week), to be worked within standard business hours across 4 or 5 days (Monday–Friday) for a 6-month fixed-term period.
Responsibilities Include:
* Daily Bank Receipting
* Daily Bank Account Reconciliation
* Month End Bank Reconciliation
* Accounts Payable - responsible for One Off payments, Reimbursement payments, BPAYs
* Corporate Traveller invoice coding and monthly payment
* Provide support to the AP function as required.
* Responsible for checking each NSW Subcontractor invoice ensure Subcontract Statement is compliant
* Producing Monthly Stock reports for management approval
* Ensure written procedures are updated monthly.
* Undertake any other duties as directed by Management within the scope of the position.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Minimum of 2 years previous experience in an administration officer role working in a high-volume processing environment (essential)
* Similar experience within the residential construction industry (preferred)
* Ability to process large volumes of work in a timely manner.
* Consistently maintain a high standard of work
* Work well in a Team environment.
* Excellent communication skills
* A positive and "can do" approach to work.
* Reliable and punctual
* Mature Attitude
* Able to effectively liaise with internal staff and respond promptly to sub-contractor queries.
* A minimum intermediate level using Microsoft Office products – specifically Excel.
