The role
Are you a strategic, innovative, and people-focused marketing leader ready to make a real impact? Guide Dogs Queensland is seeking a Marketing, Media & Communications Manager to lead our high-performing Marketing team at our beautiful head office in Bald Hills. This senior management role sits within our Community Engagement department and reports directly to the General Manager, Community Engagement.
You will be driving brand growth, delivering integrated marketing campaigns, and strengthening stakeholder relationships across fundraising, advocacy, volunteer programs, allied health services, and dog programs. Your leadership will inspire GDQ's growth as the charity of choice for clients, supporters, and the community.

In this role, you will:
* Lead, mentor and inspire the Marketing, Media & Communications team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
* Develop and deliver multi-channel strategies aligned with GDQ's Strategic Plan.
* Build, protect, and grow GDQ's brand through compelling messaging, storytelling, and consistent brand management.
* Act as a spokesperson and lead media relations, securing positive coverage and managing issues when needed.
* Oversee digital marketing, SEO, analytics, and supporter journeys to drive engagement and retention.
* Collaborate with fundraising, volunteer, and program teams to deliver creative campaigns that increase donations, participation, and loyalty.
* Promote and support key events, campaigns, and advocacy initiatives to maximize reach and impact.
About you

* Senior leadership experience with a proven ability to mentor, motivate, and inspire a high-performing team.
* Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across staff, volunteers, donors, clients, media, and community partners.
* Expertise in brand development and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns that achieve measurable results.
* Exceptional copywriting, storytelling, and collateral production skills, with a strong eye for detail and quality.
* Experience supporting fundraising, advocacy, and community programs through impactful marketing initiatives.
* Proficiency in digital marketing, SEO, marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools to drive data-informed decision making.
* Strategic thinking who can balance competing priorities and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Experience in the not-for-profit or community services sector (highly regarded).
