As part of our ongoing growth, we are currently seeking a new team member to join our dedicated crew.
Position: Industrial Engineer
Responsibilities:
1. Reviewing workflow structures, site rosters, team responsibilities and service documentation to clearly define the roles and tasks of cleaning staff and operational units, with the aim of identifying inefficiencies, redundancies, or areas of overlap that may impact service delivery.
2. Implementing task tracking and time-use analysis across various cleaning assignments to establish benchmarks and performance standards for optimal allocation of staff resources and improvement of labour productivity.
3. Evaluating the use of human resources, deployment of cleaning tools and equipment, facility layouts, operational schedules, and service costs to identify strategies for maximising operational efficiency and reducing time, effort, and resource wastage.
4. Designing and refining cleaning workflows, task sequences, and equipment usage protocols tailored to each site's layout and functional needs, to ensure safe, consistent and effective service provision in line with client requirements.
5. Developing operational specifications and selecting appropriate materials, machinery, products and methods for cleaning, sanitisation and waste handling, ensuring alignment with environmental and industry standards.
6. Coordinating the mobilisation of cleaning teams, delivery of supplies, and allocation of tools and machinery to various project sites, ensuring all components are available and functioning as required to meet deadlines and contractual obligations.
7. Establishing and enforcing operational policies and procedures for equipment usage, cleaning quality assurance, site inspections, WHS compliance, and regular maintenance, in accordance with industry best practices and statutory requirements.
8. Conducting routine inspections of cleaning equipment and service outcomes on-site to verify performance levels and take corrective action where service standards are not being met.
9. Overseeing the maintenance of storage facilities, vehicles and equipment used in daily operations, and collaborating with relevant teams to plan and implement equipment upgrades, repairs, safety checks and service schedules.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
* Degree in Industrial Engineering and at least 1 year of full-time experience in the occupation
