Commence works with carpenters on a trial basis on site
- Gain hands-on experience in carpentry through on-the-job training with qualified carpenters.
- Learn various carpentry skills, such as framing, installing fixtures, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
- Review Drawings, codes, and instructions to understand project requirements.
- Work out material quantities needed for projects to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Ensure accurate and high-quality workmanship in your work
- Review each job to ensure good quality work as your work progresses.
- Adhere to safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Communicate with your supervisors, colleagues, and clients to provide updates on project progress.
- Upon completion, progress to a fully qualified carpenter.
**To be successful in this role you must have**:
- Eligibility to work in Australia (Permanent residency)
- The ability to transport yourself and your tools to and from work/training sites. (a driver's license is a mandatory requirement)
- Good standard of English is required
Pay: $42,760.00 - $52,000.69 per year
