Sexual Health Medicine Professional
This role involves training to achieve a range of competencies in sexual health medicine. The position requires expertise in clinical and public health management for sexually transmitted and blood borne virus infections.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
1. Provide clinical management for sexually transmitted and blood borne virus infections under the supervision and direction of medical specialists.
2. Participate in public health responses to incidents such as outbreak investigation and management, emergency preparedness, and response planning.
3. Coordinate projects that enhance sexual health services within the organization.
4. Develop and implement policies and programs across sexual health medicine.
5. Engage in media communication, public messaging, alerts, teaching, and applying research findings to practice.
6. Participate in the Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine training program.
7. Ensure compliance with service quality standards, work health and safety policies, and procedures to provide high-quality safe services and workplaces.
8. Foster a positive workplace culture through exemplary leadership practices and role modeling behavior.
