After Hours Nurse Manager

This role offers a unique opportunity to use your clinical expertise to support Nurse Unit Managers and Nursing Leads in delivering exceptional nursing practice and services.
You'll play a key part in areas such as staffing, recruitment, human resources, financial administration, patient flow, and risk management, ensuring smooth and effective operations across wards and services.
Your contribution will help create a positive, safe work environment that prioritises the best outcomes for patients and clients.
You will be accountable for nursing and midwifery management practices within your portfolio, addressing any gaps between policy and practice with confidence and professionalism.
Whether providing direct support to clinical teams, managing projects to enhance service delivery, or overseeing after-hours operations, your role will be pivotal in maintaining high standards of care and operational excellence in a dynamic healthcare setting.

About You
We're looking for a skilled and passionate nurse leader ready to support and inspire teams while driving excellence in patient care.
Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and at least 3 years' post-registration experience, including leadership and management roles.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to lead change and foster a positive workplace culture.
Proven experience managing projects and promoting consumer engagement initiatives within a healthcare setting.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, quality improvement systems, and contemporary nursing or midwifery practices, plus willingness to obtain ALS1 certification.
