Glenview Health is located in Rutherglen, the premier wine region of Victoria, in close proximity to the regional centers of Albury/Wodonga and Wangaratta, and tourism areas of Yarrawonga, Beechworth and Yackandandah

Glenview Health is the principal provider of Residential Aged Care, Home Care Packages, District Nursing, Primary Care, and Children's Services in the region. We have moved into a $57.11 million state of the art residential aged care and primary care facility funded by the Victorian Government.

We seek Primary Care professionals, dedicated to maintaining our reputation for excellence in primary care and aged care in the following roles:


Chronic and Complex Nurse (0.2 eft)

Demonstrate advanced clinical skills, assessment, knowledge, experience and interest in working with people with Aged, Chronic and Complex needs.

Provide high quality Care Coordination that is client and family centred.

Work with clients and carers in maintaining independence and promoting health and wellness within their home/community environment: Demonstrating flexibility, coordination of education, programs and services that promote and maintain independence of the client within a variety of settings.

Advocacy on behalf of the client and their carer is a key aspect of the role, as well as strong mediation and negotiation skills Ability to respond to organizational needs and priorities within the overarching discipline is a required aspect of this position.


Health Promotion Officer (0.2 eft)

Actively encourage individuals and community groups to be involved in determining needs and developing plans and ideas.

Identify those at risk and provide appropriate intervention, including referral to other health, welfare or community services.

Assist individuals to achieve optimum health levels through education and promotion of choices.

Liaise with government, local government and neighbouring Community Health Services to coordinate activities and share information and expertise.

Establish and maintain methods of accountability.

Be consistent with state and regional planning with particular regard to provision of core services.


Allied Health Professionals (up to 0.6eft)

Open to university-qualified professionals – occupational therapy, dietetics, speech pathology, psychology, counselling


The Allied Health Professional role can be combined with the Health Promotion role to a 0.8 eft role
