A Club steeped in the history of Australian tennis, Royal South Yarra Lawn Tennis Club boasts a range of world‐class facilities, all available to its members and their guests.
With 10 superbly maintained grass courts, 4 Italian clay, 8 porous and 4 all‐weather courts with lights for night play, Royal South Yarra has for more than 138 years been a place for members to enjoy the many and varied delights of tennis.
Beyond the courts, the club has an array of facilities including a recently refurbished gym featuring Technogym equipment, squash courts and a heated swimming pool. The clubhouse features two bars and dining facilities serving restaurant‐quality meals, and various rooms for weddings, birthdays and other private functions.
About The Role
* Deliver high‐quality, individualised training sessions to members of all ages and fitness levels.
* Develop and implement safe, effective, and engaging exercise programmes.
* Educate and motivate members to achieve their health and wellness goals.
* Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
* Flexible hours available, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
The Personal Trainer reports to the Head of Operations and works with members one‐on‐one, two‐on‐one and in groups, running fitness classes, writing fitness programmes and conducting fitness assessments. The selected employee should have at least 2 years' industry experience and strong communication and administration skills. Experience with Technogym equipment and software is preferred.
Essential Requirements
* Certificate III in Fitness
* Certificate IV in Fitness
* First Aid Certificate
* Current Provide/Perform CPR
* Qualified Group Fitness Instructor
* Registered Exercise / Fitness Professional
* National Police / Criminal History Check
Desirable Criteria
* Human Movement / Coaching / Exercise / Sports Science Degree
* Diploma of Fitness
* Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
