Locum Physiotherapist – 1 Hour from Cairns, QLD:
Private Practice | Short-Term Contract
We are currently working with a well-established private practice located approximately one hour from Cairns that is seeking a Locum Physiotherapist to provide short-term cover.
This is an excellent opportunity for a physiotherapist looking to step into a busy clinic, enjoy a supportive team environment, and experience Far North Queensland while working.
About the Role:
* Locum Physiotherapist position in a private practice setting
* Mixed musculoskeletal caseload
* Clinic-based role with structured handover
* Supportive and experienced team
* Flexible contract lengths (4 weeks – 3 months)
Key Responsibilities:
* Musculoskeletal assessments and treatment
* Manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation
* Developing and progressing patient treatment plans
* Clinical documentation and reporting
* Liaising with other allied health professionals as required
What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Physiotherapist
* AHPRA registration (or in progress)
* Private practice or musculoskeletal experience preferred
* Strong communication and time-management skills
* Locum experience advantageous but not essential
