North Queensland Region is seeking applications to join the Temporary Relieving Pool 2026 for opportunities as a Head of Department - Student Services, Secondary, Student Engagement, or Curriculum (Primary, Secondary, and Special Schools) within the North Queensland Region, with the pool utilised to fill short-term vacancies ranging from one week up to six months.
This is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

This continuous applicant pool is open for candidates interested in employment opportunities as a Head of Department - Student Services/Secondary/Student Engagement/Curriculum (primary, secondary and Special schools) within the North Queensland Region and meet the mandatory employment requirements as detailed in the attached role description. The positions may range in duration up to a school semester.
The region may utilise this EOI pool for short term vacancies of up to 1 week to 6 months.

Requests for relocation expenses/incentives may be discussed with suitable applicants on an individual, case by case basis in alignment with relevant directives.
