What your new job looks like
Day to day you will be managing a portfolio of work, using your technical skills and expertise to collaborate with specialists and drive a timely outcome and settlement.
* Active involvement in developing and implementing assessing processes that drive an outstanding CHU customer experience
* Completion of onsite strata assessments, confirming extent, cause and nature of losses
* Collation of information and evidence to make determinations (including indemnity and recovery)
* Formulation of scope of works as appropriate
* Settlement and completion of files in accordance with internal protocols
* Compilation of reporting and maintenance of records
* Policy interpretation and provision of recommendations
We'd love to meet you…..
Especially if you can talk to us about your:
Essential
* Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent knowledge
* Minimum of 3 years of property claims handling experience / 3 years Loss Adjusting
* Experience with commercial and catastrophe claims
* Research and investigative abilities; negotiating, conflict resolution and persuasive abilities
* Superior verbal and written communication skills, including large-group presentation skills
* A full driver's licence and ability to be mobile with travel
Desirable
* ACILA Diploma in Loss Adjusting or qualifications attained through ANZIIF
* Thorough knowledge of commercial and residential construction industries
* Knowledge of property claims law and jurisdictional issues
