We are now seeking a Service Team Lead to join our Devonport team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to lead a team of highly skilled technicians, supporting clients through technical expertise, service delivery, and a strong customer-first mindset.
The Opportunity
As the Service Team Lead, you will play a key hands-on leadership role within our service team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to technicians while overseeing the coordination and delivery of service activities. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Devonport service team, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality outcomes for our clients.
Our team delivers a wide range of field services including:
* Electrical and control system installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting
* Instrumentation configuration, calibration and support
* Industrial communication systems testing and troubleshooting
* Servicing of electrical equipment including hazardous area work
* Technical and engineering support
What You’ll Bring
* Current Electrical Practitioners License – Electrician
* Instrumentation knowledge and experience
* Proficient in the use of computers and standard software tools
* Comfortable using business systems (e.g. MYOB) for quoting and project tracking.
* Proven leadership and team coordination experience
* A strong safety culture and demonstrated ability to lead safe work practices
* High-level communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience in managing customer relationships and expectations
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Sound fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
* Current Driver’s License
Highly Regarded Experience
* White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Space, High-Risk Licenses (EWP, LF)
* Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
* Familiarity with PLCs, RTUs, SCADA systems and VFDs
* Fibre optic and CAT6 networking
* UPS systems maintenance
