About The Role
Responsibilities Include:
* Prepare and generate daily absenteeism reports, identifying and following up attendance discrepancies with classroom teachers to ensure accuracy of records
* Generate daily roll marking compliance records and communicate with teaching staff regarding outstanding roll marking requirements
* Manage correspondence and referrals to and from the Attendance Officer in relation to attendance matters
* Accurately roll‐mark all paper rolls submitted to the Student Engagement Hub (SEH) for excursions, sporting events and other school‐approved activities, and follow up any outstanding or missing rolls
* Monitor and review parent/guardian responses to daily SMS absence notifications; liaise with relevant teachers as required and record pertinent information in OneSchool
* Monitor attendance and wellbeing of students in Out of Home Care and refer concerns to the relevant Year Level Head of Department and Guidance Officer
* Provide Student Engagement front‐of‐house support, including signing students in late, managing student sign‐in/sign‐out processes for appointments, assisting with uniform matters, and supporting the completion of incident reports
* Provide front counter coverage during lunch breaks and other designated times as required
* Perform other duties consistent with the scope and responsibilities of the position, as directed by the supervisor or nominated delegate
