About the roles:
We are hiring for two opportunities within our growing team:
Qualified/Licenced Plumbers
This is a hands-on role delivering plumbing works across major residential and commercial construction projects. You will take ownership of your work, ensuring all work are completed to a high standard and in line with safety and compliance requirements.
Key Duties (not limited to)
· Carry out plumbing works on residential and commercial construction sites
· Read and interpret plans and specifications
· Install, test, commission, maintain and repair plumbing systems (water, gas, drainage, storm water, fire hydrant systems)
· Cut, thread, bend, weld and braise pipework
· Install fixtures and equipment
· Comply with WHS and environmental requirements
· Maintain quality workmanship and support a positive team culture
· Train, coach and mentor apprentices
Requirements
· Relevant plumbing qualifications and current ACT licence
· Proven residential and commercial experience
· Complete set of hand tools and cordless equipment
· White Card, Asbestos Awareness Card and Silica Exposure Prevention Card
· Working Safely with Asbestos Containing Materials Training (preferred or we can assist to obtain)
· Current driver’s licence and own vehicle
2nd to 4th Year Apprentice Plumbers
This is a practical, hands-on, site-based role where you’ll continue developing your trade skills across residential and commercial projects under the guidance of experienced plumbers.
What you will be doing
· Assist with plumbing installations, maintenance and repairs
· Measure, cut and install pipework and fixtures
· Assist with testing and commissioning of systems
· Complete basic site paperwork
· Follow all WHS and site requirements
What we are looking for
· Currently completing Certificate III in Plumbing (TAFE)
· Willing to learn and take direction
· Reliable, punctual and hard-working
· Positive attitude and good communication skills
· White Card, Asbestos Awareness Card and Silica Exposure Prevention Card
· Current Driver’s Licence and own vehicle.
