Service Operations is part of the APAC Services organization.

We employ over 1,350 FTE at more than 100 sites worldwide across the Airport, Parcel & Postal, and Warehousing divisions.
Role Description
As an Electrical Technician, you will support one of our key customer systems in the Greater Sydney area.
This role involves maintaining high-end automated material handling solutions critical to our customer's business.
The system includes electro-mechanical components controlled by low-level and high-level control systems.
You will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance activities during your shift, ensuring skilled delivery of maintenance services.
Responsibilities
Conduct electrical maintenance inspections
Diagnose and repair electrical systems
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards
Assist with mechanical duties as needed
This is a full-time, on-site role with 12-hour shifts on a 24/7 roster.
Qualifications
Electrical qualification (Cert III in Electrotechnology) and contractor/supervisor license
3-5 years of relevant experience as a Service Engineer/Technician
Understanding of industrial controls (PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, etc.)
Strong electrical background with mechanical aptitude
Dual Trade Certificate (electrical and mechanical) is highly regarded
Experience in logistics, postal sorting, and baggage handling systems is highly regarded
Position Requirements
Obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card for Sydney Airport
Pass criminal and ID checks to verify work entitlements in Australia
Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
Pass a pre-employment medical examination, including drug and alcohol testing
