About The Role
Electrical Engineer – Hexham
This is a career development opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team based in Hexham. You'll work on high voltage diagnostic testing projects across various sites, including renewable energy, thermal generation, utilities and mining, and you may be deployed to locations such as the Snowy Mountains, Rural NSW, QLD, TAS and SA. The role involves troubleshooting, fault finding, and maintaining electrical systems, while travelling as required.
Responsibilities
* Conduct high voltage diagnostic testing on industrial equipment.
* Perform fault analysis and solution identification for complex electrical systems.
* Maintain testing equipment and software.
* Manage multiple projects and priorities across different sites.
* Travel to field sites periodically and work with clients to ensure high-quality service.
Qualifications
* Electrical trade qualification or relevant engineering qualification (Certificate IV, Diploma, Degree).
* LVR/CPR training.
* Experience with electrical switchgear and systems maintenance and testing.
* HV switching certificate.
* Advanced technical skills in testing and maintenance of electrical systems.
* Problem‐solving and fault‐finding experience.
* Excellent client and customer service skills.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and projects.
* Commitment to safety as a core value.
* Driver's licence and willingness to travel.
