The Opportunity
This established listed Australian group is looking for an ambitious, technically competent CA qualified Accountant to join their Finance function.
Reporting into the Group FC, your responsibilities will include group-level monthly management reporting, financial statements, board reporting, budgeting, forecasting, trial balance analysis/commentaries, indirect taxes (payroll tax, GST), treasury accounting, complex bank recs, fixed assets, inter-company accounting and playing a key role in the half- and year-end audit process.
You will also be involved in internal business improvement projects, systems projects and other ad hoc pieces of work, as well as providing technical accounting advice to divisional stakeholders.
About you
You are a qualified CA, with 1–3 years post-qualified experience, seeking your 1st move out of Big 4 or mid-tier firm, or you're coming from within a large, complex, corporate environment in a similar group accounting capacity.
You'll have sound, up-to-date knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, whilst excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
