About the Role
Reporting to the Civil Manager, you will play a key role in supporting site operations across multiple projects. This position has been created to support the continued growth of our team, strengthening our on‐site leadership capability and ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.
Working closely with other Foremen and Leading Hands, you will help coordinate daily site activities, drive productivity, and maintain strong safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and oversee daily civil site operations with a strong focus on safety and compliance
* Lead toolbox talks, pre‐start meetings, and ensure adherence to SWMS
* Coordinate labour, subcontractors, and materials to meet construction schedules
* Work collaboratively with other Foremen and Leading Hands to deliver project outcomes
* Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are consistently achieved
* Maintain and update short‐term and master project schedules
* Manage site logistics and ensure timely delivery of materials
* Contribute to team performance, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
* Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations (or equivalent)
* Current Driver's Licence and White Card
* Minimum 2+ years' experience in a Civil Foreman role
* Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, plant, and materials
* Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem‐solving skills
* Highly desirable: Experience working for a residential builder
