YOUR NEW ROLE
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this role is all about owning Victoria and leading from the top. You'll set the direction and lead your team to deliver sustainable growth across existing accounts and new opportunities.
A part of the role is working with key stakeholders and building strong relationships with by influencing outcomes and turning strategy into action. If you enjoy leading people, growing and owning your results, this role is for you.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL
• Experience working within the Plumbing Merchant sector and advantage
• Experienced in on-road sales account management
• Seeking opportunities to increase customer data base
• Proven record of sales target success
• Promote ongoing service and support with current customer data base, whilst seeking additional opportunities within current merchant and OEM sectors
• Ensuring all customer requirements are met in a timely manner
MAIN TASKS INCLUDE
• Managing key accounts and developing stakeholders through acquiring successful relationships with key decision-makers across planning, engineering, and sustainability functions
• Providing ongoing support to assigned key account managers
• Representing AW at industry events, briefings and presentations to promote solutions and key value propositions to the target market
• Collaborate closely with the team to develop tailored proposals, pricing and delivery strategy
• Ensure feedback and reviews are provided to establish recommended go-to-market strategies in area
• Lead by example and act as a trusted member of the team by following AW's mission, values and standards in all interactions
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
• Proven ability in sales account management at a State Management level
• Strong presentation skills with an exceptional customer service focus
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships across the plumbing sector
• 5 yeas proven experience in a similar BDM role
• Current open license and the ability to travel throughout the region
• Exceptional Communication skills both written and verbal
• Financial Analysis
