Disability Support Worker

Are you passionate about supporting people with disabilities to live great lives? We have an exciting opportunity for a Disability Support Worker to join our team.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality support to clients with physical disabilities. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering individualized support plans that promote independence, dignity, and community participation.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Good judgment and common sense, with excellent listening skills and a willingness to learn and adapt
* Experience supporting people with physical disabilities, including manual handling and PEG feeding (an advantage but not necessary)
* Great patience and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
* Enthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live fulfilling lives
* Commitment to working collaboratively with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals
* Full driver's license and willingness to drive clients' vehicles

You will work varied shifts, including sleepovers, day support, and community access, as well as provide in-home evening support with home duties required. We are looking to support clients based in Greendale, Kyneton, Heathcote, and Bendigo.

As part of our recruitment process, certain checks will be undertaken with your permission, including an NDIS Worker Screening Check that you must have before you can start work.
