At the Marketing Scientist Group, we use science and technology to help marketers, media businesses, and advertisers make evidence-based decisions that grow their brands. We work with some of the largest media companies in Asia Pacific, specialising in audience measurement, advertising and content effectiveness, as well as total video research.
Who this role is for
* Insight experts in TV and video streaming, with recent experience working for broadcasters / video publishers and/or media agencies in Australia or New Zealand.
* We're open to both full-time and part-time candidates looking to grow with a fast-moving, data-driven startup.
What you'll do
1. Insights & Project Delivery
* Analyse TV ratings, digital analytics, advertising, and sales data to uncover insights on viewer and consumer behaviour
* Synthesise multiple data sources and conduct desktop research on market trends
* Develop reports in PowerPoint, Excel, or Power BI with support from our team
* Design and test online surveys (e.g Qualtrics)
* Collaborate with data vendors and developers to manage project outputs
2. Client & Task Management
* Work directly with clients leveraging a variety of data tools
* Manage client and internal communications
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery
3. Business Development
* Contribute to thought leadership, content creation, and partner engagement
* Support proposal development for consulting and data projects
* Assist with broader business planning and growth initiatives
* Work with leading media brands across APAC
