Job Opportunity: Clinical Anaesthetist
About the Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled clinical anaesthetist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic services, meeting the requirements of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists Training Program.
The department offers three separate ANZCA-approved positions each year:
* Peri-Operative Fellowship: 6 months
* Regional Fellowship: 6 months
* Anaesthetics Fellowship: 1 year
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will require demonstrated clinical and technical expertise with appropriate knowledge, skills, and ability to deliver quality care in Anaesthetics. You will also need high-level interpersonal skills and ability to work with and lead other staff.
In addition, you will require high-level oral and written communication skills and ability to work and liaise with other health professionals. You must be committed to principles of quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical governance. Furthermore, you should have a commitment to education and research, including a personal commitment to continuing medical education.
Mandatory Requirements:
You must be vaccinated against certain vaccine-preventable diseases as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16. Additionally, you must be vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 12/21 and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
