What you'll be doing
In this senior leadership role, you will provide strategic direction and operational oversight for Pharmacy Mental Health Services, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality medication management.
* Lead and coordinate comprehensive pharmacy services across Mental Health Services
* Drive compliance with legislation, policy and medicines governance standards
* Oversee workforce leadership, performance, development and supervision
* Manage financial, human and physical resources within allocated budgets
* Strengthen quality improvement, audit, KPIs and accreditation readiness

Essential Criteria
Registration: Registered as a practicing pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria
* Registered as a pharmacist authorised to practise by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with extensive professional experience in Hospital Pharmacy (in accordance with the Health Employees' Pharmacists (State) Award 202.
* Demonstrated extensive managerial and clinical experience in a hospital setting with proven ability to role model and champion the optimisation of patients’ clinical care, as well as the ability to roster and manage teams across a large or multi-site organisation.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills including sound computer skills.
* Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and work practices relating to the practice of hospital clinical pharmacy.
* Demonstrated experience leading and developing capability within a team, whilst fostering a performance based and patient focussed work culture.
* Demonstrated skills and experience in service planning, including the identification, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives to ensure continual quality enhancement and the attainment of financial, operational and performance targets within negotiated times.
* Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of continuous quality improvement and service development.
* Current NSW driver licence and willingness to travel across WSLHD as required.
