Position Summary;
We are currently seeking experienced and reliable MC Drivers for the upcoming North Queensland Sugar Season. These seasonal positions will be based in Townsville, with the season expected to run from late May to December 2026.
The roles will be rostered shifts to cover 24-hour operations, ensuring continuous service throughout the season.
About the role

Specific Responsibilities
* Perform client direct deliveries to designated locations.
* Operate prime movers and other vehicles and equipment efficiently and safely.
* Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
* Maintain the condition of vehicles and plant under your care.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, fatigue management, heavy vehicle operating guidelines, loading requirements, axle weights, and vehicle-specific permits.
Qualifications and Experience
* Valid Multi-Combination (MC) driver’s license is essential.
* Strong ability to work autonomously with a proactive approach to task resolution.
* Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
* Ability to work effectively within a small team.
* Regular drug and alcohol testing is conducted.
* Must be physically fit, with good overall health to meet the demands of the role.
* A licence history printout is required along with a full functional pre-employment medical assessment.
