Location: Wodonga

Salary: $103,799 – $108,502 (pro-rata) + Super + Salary Packaging

As a program of UMFC, the Hume Riverina Community Legal Service (HRCLS) provides legal assistance services responsive to the varying needs of communities extending from the cities of Albury/Wodonga, Wangaratta and Benalla to townships throughout the Towong, Mansfield, Alpine, Indigo shires, as well as 10 additional LGA’s through the Southern Riverina of NSW.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and committed Project Coordinator to lead engagement with regional organisations and communities, driving systemic improvements in housing and tenancy services.

In this role, you will:

• Engage with services, communities, and people with lived experience to understand housing justice challenges.

• Identify opportunities to strengthen coordination and collaboration across the housing, health, and community services sectors.

• Work closely with colleagues in similar roles across Victoria’s regional community legal services, supported by a Project Lead and an Impact and Evaluation Lead.

• Contribute to a statewide housing summit and final project report showcasing recommendations for systemic change.

• Support broader HRCLS activities that build community wellbeing, resilience, and access to justice.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in community development, social work, public policy, law, or significant experience in a similar role.

• Proven experience in community engagement, facilitation, and partnership development.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

• A strong commitment to social justice, equity, and trauma-informed practice.

• Proven ability to support monitoring and evaluation activities through data collection and analysis.
