Exciting Opportunity: Financial Accountant for a Growing IT Company
A highly successful, locally owned, IT company is looking to expand its finance team. We have a new opening for a Financial/Management Accountant to work closely with the Director and support the business's continued success.
This IT company has retail/corporate services/managed services and a team of 100 staff locally.
The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to improving accounting procedures and policies, to enhance team efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Director, and working with an in-house accountant/ Finance Manager, and an assistant accounts person within the Finance team
- Be part of the finance team responsible for end of month duties (profit and loss statements and balance sheets), and providing financial information to the Director
- Review of key account reconciliations (debtors, creditors, and inventory)
- Monthly journals and reconciliations
- Cashflow, budgets, forecasts
- Providing information to auditors, and initiating internal audits where required to streamline processes

About You:
- Ideally, you are CA/CPA qualified
- Experienced with SAP Business One
- You have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with the different business teams
- You are driven to make a positive impact on internal processes and procedures
