What You'll Do Step into a skilled role where your creativity and expertise shape every plate.
You'll run a kitchen that doesn't just serve meals—it creates experiences that bring comfort and joy to our residents.
Your responsibilities will include: Prepare and present varied, nourishing, and appetizing meals that align with dietary needs and preferences.
Ensure a safe, clean, and efficient kitchen environment, maintaining hygiene and compliance standards.
Collaborate with catering staff, residents, and care teams to enhance meal services.
Lead and support kitchen staff, fostering a high-performance and team-driven culture.
Manage kitchen finances, including menu planning, budgeting, and stock control.
Evaluate and improve catering services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resident satisfaction.
What You'll Bring We're looking for a creative individual who combines culinary expertise with a passion for people.
You'll need: A relevant trade qualification (Cert III or Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent).
Experience working in a commercial kitchen, ideally in Aged Care or large-scale catering.
Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor and guide staff.
Knowledge of safe food handling practices and WHS compliance.
A valid Queensland Driver's Licence.
Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
