About the role
As the Credit Controller at Tridon, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's accounts receivable and implementing effective credit control strategies. This full‑time position is based in Silverwater, NSW, and will be responsible for ensuring the timely collection of payments and maintaining a healthy cash flow for the business.
Responsibilities
* Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer invoices to ensure prompt payment
* Liaise with customers and internal departments (such as customer service, sales and warranty) to resolve billing discrepancies, account queries and support cross‑functional operations
* Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements, ensuring all receipts are accurately allocated to customer accounts
* Identify and escalat(e) any high‑risk accounts to management
* Implement and improve credit control processes and procedures
* Provide regular reports on accounts receivable performance
* Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the integrity of financial data
* Open new debtor accounts and conduct credit checks
* Maintain and update the PPSR
* Assist with month‑end and year‑end financial procedures relating to accounts receivable
Qualifications
* Significant experience (3+ years) in a credit control or accounts receivable role
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and resolve payment issues
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to liaise with customers effectively
* Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet tools
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
