Job Description
About You
You are a compassionate and skilled professional with demonstrated experience supporting people living with disability. You bring strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to person-centred care. You understand the importance of dignity, independence, and inclusion, and you're confident in delivering high-quality support across a range of environments.

About The Role
As a Support Worker, you'll support and deliver personal care to clients of all ages across Novita's wide range of community programs in a variety of settings to work with clients to reach their goals.

* Based out of our Southern Adelaide offices, you'll work across flexible shifts, programs and locations
* Opportunities to grow with prospects in individualised support, respite and support independent living services.
* Support adult and youth participants with work readiness and life skills through Novita's Transition to Work, Step Up and community programs
* Work flexibly across rostered shifts in home, centre, and community settings
* Grow your career with opportunities in setting such as respite and supported independent living
* Part time and casual positions available

Desired Skills And Experience
Knowledge, skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you'll bring a strong foundation of practical experience, relevant qualifications, and a genuine commitment to supporting people living with disability.

* Minimum Certificate III in Disability or equivalent
* A current driver's license (minimum P2 required)
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Willingness to complete all mandatory training requirements
* Experience supporting clients of all ages in varied settings
* Understanding of person-centred and strengths-based approaches
* Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of National Disability Standards and safeguarding practices
* Confidence using Microsoft Office and maintaining accurate records
* Familiarity with behaviour support strategies and health needs
* Commitment to privacy, confidentiality, and professional boundaries

We're serious about safeguarding our clients. If you don't have a current NDIS Worker Check and SA Working with Children Check, we'll let you know how to obtain these prior to starting work with us.
