Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 per annum (excluding super)

Established as a cornerstone in Victoria's poultry distribution, Master Poultry Group has evolved from a distributor to an industry innovator. We are now seeking a dedicated full-time Human Resources Officer to manage our day-to-day human resources operations. This role will involve close collaboration with all departments, assisting both staff and management to ensure smooth operations.


Key Responsibilities

* Provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on HR policies, procedures, and workplace relations matters.
* Advertise vacancies, screen applicants, conduct interviews, and assist with selection for production, logistics, and admin roles.
* Prepare contracts, facilitate inductions on workplace safety, hygiene, halal requirements, and company policies.
* Prepare and maintain accurate HR records, contracts, and compliance documentation.
* Assist in interpreting and applying relevant legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements.
* Provide advice on workplace relations, performance, disciplinary matters, and dispute resolution.
* Support the delivery of Work Health and Safety (WHS) and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) programs to ensure workplace compliance.
* Coordinate employee inductions and facilitate communication between staff and management.
* Provide reports and workforce data to support decision-making.


Experience & Qualifications

* At least a bachelor's degree in human resources (or equivalent Arts degree)
* Proficiency in Vietnamese is highly preferred
* 3‑4 years' experience in a similar HR role
* Strong knowledge of Australian workplace laws, including the Fair Work Act, WHS regulations, and relevant awards
* Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
* Strong communication, problem‑solving, and time management skills
* Builds a positive workforce setting and culture through positive leadership examples
