Consultant Medical Oncologist | Major Regional Referral Hospital | NSW We are working closely with a major regional referral hospital in New South Wales and are keen to connect with FRACP-qualified Medical Oncologists interested in full-time opportunities within an established and growing Oncology service.
The Opportunity The department provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient oncology care, including chemotherapy supervision and multidisciplinary case review. Consultants manage a broad solid tumour caseload while contributing to service development within a structured regional network.
This role will appeal to Oncologists seeking autonomy, clinical breadth and the ability to deliver meaningful care within a well-supported regional centre.
Hospital & Cancer Services
Large regional referral hospital serving more than 150,000 people across north-west NSW.
Dedicated chemotherapy and infusion capability.
Inpatient oncology support.
Multidisciplinary tumour board participation.
Close collaboration with Surgery, Haematology, Palliative Care and ICU.
Established referral pathways to tertiary centres in Newcastle and Sydney for highly specialised therapies.
Key teaching site within its Local Health District.

Requirements
Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) – Medical Oncology
Specialist Registration with AHPRA (or eligibility)
International Medical Graduates assessed by RACP as partially or substantially comparable
