Your new role
This role is a temporary requirement for 8 weeks commencing 10/06/2025. If you are looking for short-term opportunities, this could be your ideal role.
As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the payables functions to ensure the finance systems are efficient, accurate, and timely. Your duties will include:
Daily AP processing tasks
Invoicing
Vendor statement reconciliations
Credit card receipting
Managing staff reimbursements
Liaising with staff and creditors to resolve discrepancies
Supporting month-end and year-end processes
Providing relief support to other finance officers
What you'll need to succeed
Understanding of and commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination
Minimum one year of experience in accounts payable processing
Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Experience with computerised finance systems and Microsoft Office
