Brisbane OR Sydney Hybrid working with flexibility and collaboration; 13-month fixed term contract/secondment Opportunity to uplift third-party risk capability across the business Join a supportive team driving regulatory compliance About the role: This is your opportunity to join a team within one of Australia’s leading Insurers on a 13-month fixed term contract. The Third-Party Risk Advisor will be responsible for upholding the requirements of the Supplier Management Framework and the third-party risk oversight required by this Framework. Specifically, you will partner and drive an uplift in risk management practices across the management of Third-Parties. It is essential that you thrive in a small team environment, work collaboratively, and have a flexible mind-set. What you’ll do: Build and manage trusted relationships with the business, advocating for the desired third-party risk culture and improving risk capability and maturity throughout the business through coaching and support Develop strong relationships with leaders across the Group providing representation, advice and input Provide advice to the business, Procurement, LoD1 and vendor managers on interpretation and implementation of frameworks and policy Review and Oversight the Third-Party Risk management workflow Provide process support to Stakeholders for the Third-Party Risk management system and escalate where needed for additional support Monitor and respond to email enquiries for the Third-Party Risk management team Provide advice to the business based on insights derived from internal and external data trends and forecasts Provide oversight of the implementation of frameworks and policy and to support achievement of third-party risk management What you’ll bring: Minimum 5 years’ experience in insurance, banking, of financial services Minimum 2 years’ third party risk management and outsource risk management experience, or similar Demonstrated experience in influential communication to stakeholders High level of flexibility with the ability to adapt to change Strong negotiation skills demonstrated across internal stakeholder management contexts Strong presentation and written & verbal communication skills, both oral and written, to technical and business audiences (particularly the ability to effectively explain and convey messages at the senior executive level) FINAL_Third Party Risk Advisor_31012024TWupdated.docx For more information please contact melissa.turkington@suncorp.com.au
