Key Responsibilities
Structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures in accordance with Australian Standards
Preparation of structural calculations, reports, drawings, and technical documentation
Coordination with architects, builders, developers and other consultants
Managing projects from fee proposal through to delivery and invoicing
Conducting site inspections and providing construction phase support
Assisting with fee proposals, tender submissions and scope definition
Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
Reviewing drawings and documentation prior to issue
Supporting junior engineers and drafters where required
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
4+ years' relevant consultancy experience (senior applicants considered separately)
Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC requirements
Demonstrated experience in steel and reinforced concrete design
Proficiency in structural software such as RAPT, ETABS, Strand7, SPACE GASS or similar
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management and ability to handle multiple projects
Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives
