This is a high-ownership role. You will own the commercial performance of our digital ecosystem.
The Role
We're looking for a commercially sharp Head of Ecommerce to own the performance of our multi-brand Shopify ecosystem and lead the digital execution engine behind it. You are accountable for turning qualified traffic into confident, profitable purchases.
You will own end-to-end digital performance across five storefronts, lead structured CRO and experimentation, govern sprint prioritisation and digital work intake, direct front-end development and agency partners, ensure product launches are conversion-ready, maintain UX consistency and scalable frameworks across brands, and identify and pilot AI tools that improve conversion and operational efficiency. You will operate at the intersection of commercial strategy, UX clarity and disciplined execution.
You'll own:
Conversion & Digital Experience
* Build and execute a disciplined CRO roadmap
* Identify and remove friction across the funnel
* Improve checkout completion, add-to-cart rate and AOV
* Align landing experience with paid traffic intent
* Run structured experimentation with measurable outcomes
Digital Product Readiness
* Own digital onboarding for new products
* Ensure SKUs, pricing, imagery and merchandising are conversion-ready
* Coordinate cross-functionally to close launch loops
Sprint Governance & Execution
* Own the intake and prioritisation of digital work
* Score initiatives against commercial impact
* Define sprint capacity across BAU, critical fixes and CRO
* Ensure predictable release cadence and QA standards
* Lead front-end developers with clear standards and expectations
* Define acceptance criteria and "definition of done"
* Manage agency partners for complex builds
* Maintain site performance and technical health
* Identify AI opportunities across merchandising, search and workflow
* Pilot and scale tools that demonstrably improve revenue or efficiency
You bring:
* 8+ years in ecommerce with direct ownership of revenue performance
* Strong Shopify (or similar) expertise
* A track record of driving measurable improvements in conversion and revenue per session
* Proven sprint leadership and developer management
* Structure, decisive thinking and are commercially grounded.
* Clarity, momentum, impact and measurable progress.
* Experience managing multi-brand ecosystems (bonus but not a deal breaker)
* Experience working with headless or similar (bonus but not a deal breaker)
